Who I Am
Hi 👋, I’m Shankar, an AI-first Technical Product Builder. I’ve spent years solving complex platform problems at Microsoft and Amazon.
I enjoy taking messy customer problems, figuring out what matters, and aligning stakeholders around a clear path forward. From discovery through launch, I navigate constraints, make tradeoffs, and keep things moving. I care deeply about how users think and behave to build thoughtful products that feel seamless and intuitive.
Outside product work, I’m usually hiking, working out, or trying to understand why people behave the way they do.

Discovered 3 student fitness pain points through 6 hypothesis-driven interviews; built a 0-to-1 personalized AI gym buddy MVP in 3 hours at the OpenAI Codex Hackathon; now targeting a broader release and iterating on v3 with AI features including check-ins, a conversational chatbot, and in-app nudges.
HeyLily AI Scam-Call Defender

Led an 11-member cross-functional team across design, engineering, and business to build HeyLily, a Hiya competitor and AI scam-call defender for seniors. Guided development of an android call app, and crafted a 5-year B2B2C go-to-market model.
